Parker has served Piney Grove Methodist Church and the surrounding area since July 2019.

A lifelong learner, Parker has a B.A in Religion from the University of Mount Olive and an M.Div from Duke University. Currently, he is in the last year of his MBA program at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he is concentrating in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Business Development.

Parker is excited about doing all he can for Christ's church and furthering the Kingdom of God on earth. He is equally excited about the work God in Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit, is doing at Piney Grove. Most recently, PG discerned and made a move to the Global Methodist Church, in order to live faithfully according to God's word and preserve the apostolic faith.

A member of World Methodist Evangelism's Order of the FLAME, Parker is passionate about evangelism, discipleship, transformational leadership, pastoral care (he loves visiting!), preaching, and edifying and encouraging others to discern the call God has on their lives.

In his free time, Parker likes to spend time with his family and his six-year-old German Shepherd/Boxer mix named Scooby. He loves fishing, racing, and all things Duke Blue Devils and the Carolina Hurricanes.

Most recently, Parker became the Lead Presiding Elder for the proposed Siler City District of the Global Methodist Church North Carolina Provisional Annual Conference. He will become an ordained elder for the Global Methodist Church in the North Carolina Conference in early 2023.
